Medical Camps (Gift of Life)
If patients cannot reach the hospital, the hospital travels to them.
Care Beyond the City
Much of Pakistan lives far from a hospital that can treat a cataract or screen for cancer. Through the Gift of Life medical camps, PEBS teams travel to remote and underserved areas to screen, treat and operate – free of cost, funded entirely by donors.
What a Camp Delivers
- Eye screening and cataract surgery for patients who would otherwise go blind untreated.
- Referral of complex cases to PEBS Hospital in Karachi for free specialist care.
- Health awareness in communities with little access to medical information.
Sponsor a Camp
Free remote-area camps are one of the direct uses of your Zakat and donations. Donate to fund the next camp, or contact us about volunteering or hosting a camp in your area.
Take Care Where It Is Needed Most
PEBS Hospital receives no government funding. Every service for the underprivileged is made possible by donors and volunteers.
